Here's my setup:
§ Blackberry 7100T with handheld OS version 18.104.22.168 (platform 22.214.171.124)
§ Desktop manager software 126.96.36.199
§ Operating with T-mobile UK
A few weeks back, I downloaded the above software from the T-mobile UK website and installed it, all with the guidance of their tech support.
Before installing this software, I had no problems at all. Since the installation, I have had two problems which may be related.
Intermittent email problem on handlheld
When I select "compose email " on the handheld and then try to send it, sometimes it fails (a red cross is displayed). I cannot see any reliable pattern to the failures. Some email addresses seem to be more susceptible, but days can go by with no problems. When the problem does occur, it seems to keep happening for a while to most addresses, then it's OK again. It's not a network signal problem.
Mystery emails appearing.
I am getting flurries of emails appearing in my Outlook inbox and handheld. They are addressed to my main email address,
"This message is used to carry data between the BlackBerry Handheld and an associated server. Please do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the server.
I sometimes find similar messages appearing in my Outlook OUTbox, presumably put there by the email redirector.
This redirector came as part of the desktop software. The previous version of the software did not have one and I don't want this one - but it seems to be part of the install. I have disabled it, but still the messages appear.
Can anyone shed some light?
