Question, This may be incorrect on terminology but Ive been having some problems with my BlackBerry and Blue Tooth, Im wondering if I need to reload the firmware/OS on the BlackBerry itself, is that possible? If so HOW! :(.. Im confused. Im running 4.0 as the RIM Software but Ive never been able to figure out how to flash the 7290 itself??

"BlackBerryOS" and "BlackBerry Handheld OS" is the same thing as "firmware" and "flash upgrade" for BlackBerries.

Check Options->About to check the version of your BlackBerry Handheld OS.

There really should be an easier way to do this....

Wipe the handheld
Uninstall Handheld Software 4.0 from your PC
Uninstall Desktop Manager 4.0 from your PC
Install 3.x desktop and handheld software
Cradle the handheld and install 3.x on the handheld
<--fun
Uninstall all the 3.x stuff
Reinstall all the 4.0 stuff
cradle
Reload 4.0 on your handheld
you now have a fresh version of 4.0
don't you feel like you accomplished something?
