Default Disappearing calendar appointments

Please Login to Remove!

I have been playing with this one a while to see what exactly is going on. Follow me...

A co-worker sends me a meeting request via Outlook
The message is forwarded to my BB, and I read it
I do NOT read it on my desktop
I sync my BB with my desktop
The meeting request is moved to the deleted items folder

I have a BB 7520 running handheld software 4.0, desktop software 3.6 (I previously had desktop 4.0 and also had the same problem).

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have observed Wireless calendar entries to just disappear from time to time, and corrected this by rebooting the BES....

I've noticed this on BES before as well. Along with address books disappearing. Will occasionally occur right after a reboot or upgrade. Once BES realizes the address book/calendar is empty it will OTA the contact or events right over within 4hrs.

I have a user here who loses their expired calendar events. After an item has gone past the scheduled time, it disappears from the blackberry.

Yeah that happens to us as well on GW BES4. Don't think there's any ways to change it.

That should be a fairly easy one to fix. Go into teh PIM and select Calendar and Advanced. Under Date Range tab make sure All Items is selected, not Future Items.

We've tried that. Still deletes expired items.

But... this is expected to be fixed in SP1 for GW BES4

I am not using BES, I am usind the redirector. So it has nothing to do with the wireless sync issues.

As for configuring the PIM, I have it set to sync the past 30 days and 999 days in the future.

Here, we're running the latest version of BES 3.xx with Exchange.
