Exclamation HELP! Always having to re-type email adresses!

Please Login to Remove!

Hey Ya'll,

Just got a new blackberry 8703e this week and I'm LOVIN' IT!! I'm already an addict my wife keeps telling me to stop playing with my phone...LOL. My problem is that I have to keep retyping email addresses that I have already typed at least 10 times...Is this normal? I would have thought the cache memory would remember I have already typed the email address and allow me to just select it. Any suggestions, do I have a lemon, or is this normal? Thanks!

This is normal. Have you considered putting the addresses in your address book?

Type the person's name - not their email address - assuming their name and email address is in your Address Book.

I don't know how many times I've had to explain to people that when outlook remembers an e-mail address when you start typing it, doesn't mean they are in your contact list.

I've had frantic calls from people claiming all their contacts disappeared. I showed them that there never were any contacts.

I have, however, extracted the info from a .nk2 file and dumped it into a spread sheet for them and told them to save them as real contacts.
