Default email signature

I have a 7290 with 4.0. The Help says to create an email sig, go to message options / email settings / use auto sig. When I go to message options, I don't get "email settings." I have "general options" and "email reconiliation." Neither one gives me email settings or use auto sig. Can anyone help?

Are you using the BlackBerry Web Client (BWC)? If so, you can change/create the auto signature by logging into the Web Client, and selecting Profiles (I think it is under profiles). You can only change the auto signature on the BB if you are using BES 4.0.

Another way is to go into AutoText and create a shortcut. I defined a new entry I called zz and have it repalced with a full signature block, which includes my name, address, contact information, etc. Whenever I type zz followed by a space, all of that gets inserted. For a simpler, personal signature, I created a second one I called zc which just inserts a "Regards, PhilMax".

Default thanks for the email sig replies

I am using the desktop manager and a corporate server. I haven't found anything in the desktop manager that will allow me to do an email sig. I like the auto text work around idea offered, but I'd also like to get rid of the "sent from my blackberry wireless ..." auto sig that came pre-programmed.

You are right, oh Grand High User of Blackberries! Thank you. The sig is under the "redirector settings" icon.
