Default Blackberry 7750 OS install

Please Login to Remove!

I recently wiped my 7750 with JL_CMDER due to some technical errors it was having. I'm trying to install the OS, but the device can't be found through desktop manager and remains saying disconnected. I do Options>Conn. Settings>Detect and it says USB Handheld found. the problem is it really isn't found and won't let me choose any of the options. any help?

Default

Does the device appear to charge when plugged in?

I've seen a lot of the 77xx series develop bad USB connectors.
