Default Desktop manager problems +Vista

Please Login to Remove!

I have read the numerous issues with the Desktop Manager and Vista on these boards, but am looking for a solution to the following problem.

I enabled UAC so that the Desktop Manager would load. It is now loaded, but I have other programs that need for the UAC to be disabled to load. Does anyone know if there is a way to load the Desktop manager without having the UAC enabled? I tried just disabling to load the programs I need, but of course it requires a reboot which then disables my desktop manager software.

Any help is appreciated.

no solution as of yet, just use DM when you need to, and then when done, turn off UAC

I don't think Vista and DM get along yet. =)
