Default How to Install BB Tools (newbie)

Please Login to Remove!

I just got a 7250 (verizon) this week and am trying to set it up. I downloaded the BB Tools zip and extracted the alx files onto my computer in a BB file. I just went to Desktop Mgr and Application loader. After selecting the alx files for BB Light, Today or Weather I get a pop up stating that No Additional Applications for Your Handheld Were Found. Any advice?

Go to the Verizon web site and download the Handheld software for the 7250. Execute the downloaded file. Then restart Desktop Manager. It should work fine now.

I downloaded the Handheld software from Vzw just now, restarted the Desktop. Now various programs are showing up...but when I Add and select the alx files, I still get the same message. Any other advice?

I have found that you have to use the correct DTM, It seems picky... I couldn't load any software with 3.6, but 4.0 found it and loaded it just fine.
