I just purchased a BB 7210 frome eBay and it has a long list of addresses in it. Is ther a way to delete them all at one time instead of deleting them on at a time?

Well, if you have none of your personal data yet in the black barry, you can go to Options, Security, Wipe Handheld. Be warned that will clear, erase, and delete ALL contacts, call history, messages and persobal data. It is almost like taking it back to factory settings to start clean, as far as removing old data.

Wipe Handheld is not a selection under "Options, Security"

Sorry, you were almost there. Go one more step: Options, Security, General Settings, click to menu: Wipe Handheld.

I think that is only available in the newer OS's...

You might need to do this:

Set a password under Options >> Security >> Password and save it.... Then enter that password incorrectly 10 times....

After you enter it wrong 10 times it will wipe out all the data.

All I have under "Options, Security" is:
Password
Security Timeout
Lock upon Holstering
IT Polocy
Last update

Sorry, I'm an idiot to ths stuff. The IT Policy reads "Default". How do I remove this?

I had to pull my OLD BB out of the closet, dust it off and take a gander at it
