Default Vista not syncing with pearl over USB

Please Login to Remove!

I have vista ultimate 32-bit installed and my pearl will not get recongnized in desktop manager. I installed desktop manager 4.2 SP 1 and when i plug my pearl in via usb it asks on the pearl if i want to enable masss storage, i have clicked both yes and no, either way i do it desktop manager will not pick it up. I have went into the connection manager in DM and set it to USB and when i click "detect device" it will not detect it. i can set it up through blue tooth but obviously through bluetooth i cannot update firmware or install programs. Im getting a little bit frustrated and im hoping someone can help me with it. Thanks

Ty
