Just curious...can anyone with the knowledge please explain the meaning of "Package" "Application" and "Platform" when referring to BB OS? Is it better to have the highest Application number or Platform number?

Thanks!

Jason

Default

Package - The sequential number of the complete OS/Apps build. Higher = more recent
Application - The sequential version of the applications in the package. Higher = more recent
Platform - The version of the OS Higher, again = More recent

Usually all three increase together. ie if package A is higher than pacakge B, apps A and platform A will be the same or higher than those in B
