Question BIS, ReplyTo and From

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

In reference to my other thread here (4.2 broke my BIS Setup...)

I'm trying to spoof my From address via forwarded Gmail, which used to work perfectly...

Does anyone have any insight into the changes in BIS 2.3 for ReplyTo/From functionality? Any insights or help would be most appreciated

Oli

*bump* Same question here! The "reply to" works but it still shows that the email was initially from a gmail address... I want to hide that fact since I'm only using gmail for the almost instant push since the BB email is used for corporate.

Answer: You can't with GMail. You can add a "from" address to the gmail account and at least it was say to: name (google address) on behalf of name (your address)

Searching via Google reveals this is a "problem" on all mail clients, not just the blackberry - but isn't necessarily a problem since it conforms to some mail spec requirements/standards.
