Default correct OS? and where is BIS 2.3 for verizon?

Please Login to Remove!

hello there!

just want to make sure i have everything up to date. just activated a new BB 7250 from verizon.

it is running version 4.1 (is that the most up-to-date) and the platform (which i interpret to be the BIS is 2.2).

how do i get 2.3 on verizon? does it just automatically happen or do i have to manually do something. i don't use a BES...only BIS. i don't know how to figure it out!

thanks!

Default

The platform is actually the OS version. 4.1 is the handheld apps version, and you most likely have the latest version as the 7250 hasnt been updated in some time.

BIS is a seperate service/server managed by RIM. NA carriers have not yet been upgraded to the 2.3 version of BIS.
