Question Device won't sync - blinks in the Intray

Please Login to Remove!

Have a brand new 8700c, with OS, and DM 4.1 SP1

Customer complains won't sync the Notes Address Book or the Journal.

I've fixed it twice by removing and reinstalling the Desktop software, but the problem returns a few hours later

Here's what I see:

I launch DM, and log into Notes fine, with device disconnected

I connect the device, and get prompted for the device password, which I enter.

Software then just sits there, with device icon in the Intray blinking. Won't go any further

Any ideas on a fix?

Hmmm, device icon blinking usually indicates it is waiting for some input - e.g. key store password after device password is the most common one I've heard of.

If you double click the blinking device icon - do any windows come in focus? I've noticed that the DM doesn't grab focus from other apps so well...
