I've got an 8800 which is set up to get corporate mail through an Enterprise Server. Through a web interface with T-Mobile (Germany), I've also set it up to get my gmail. I now have two message lists: One called messages and one called (my.name)@gmail.com. In the gmail list, only gmail messages show up. But in the Messages list, messages from both are mixed together. What I would like is a list with only my work mail. How do I separate them?

As far as I know, you can't stop your gmail messages from showing up in the main Messages display if you're using Blackberry's BIS to get your gmail.

If you have to keep it separate, the only thing you can do is to download the gmail application to your blackberry and remove the gmail account from BIS. The downside is you won't have push email and you won't get an alert when you get a gmail message. You MAY be able to configure gmail to send an alert via sms or email to you're blackberry account, but I haven't looked into it.

Also, there was a third party mail program, not sure if it works with gmail. Check the aftermarket section.

So how about setting up another Message list which only has the work addresses (from the BES) in it? I can always ignore the list with the combined messages then. Is this possible?

No, the messages list is basically a "dumping ground" for all messages. The BIS actually puts another separate folder on the home screen for each BIS mail account. Would be nice if you could get stuff out of the "Messages" list but you can't.
