I talked to T-Mobile support and all they did was have me pull the battery, which did not solve the problem. Next they forwarded me to RIM support and they had me build a new out look profile, which did solve the problem. Log out of Desktop and Outlook. Go to Control Panel, Email, Profiles and create a new Profile, call it Blackberry. If you use Exchange Server, make sure the Use cached Exchange Mode is NOT checked. The go to Intellisync and re-configure all the Sync areas (Calendar, Tasks, etc) to use this new Blackberry profile.
If you need more help, call the RIM techs, they seem to know the problem well. Evidently the Outlook files create/tolerate a lot of corruption.
