I have a TMobile 7230 BB that I want to upgrade...I installed JiveTalk and it will not work with TMobile's software (4.0.0.185)...I want to upgrade to a newer version of firmware, even if I have to use another company's software.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible? So frustrating that TMobile is behind the competition when it comes to software!!!!

TMobile is not necessarily behind any competition here. Remember, that model is not a newborn either.

I checked the upgrades list - but 7230 isn't listed on the FAQ

You can use any software for the 7210, 7230 or 7280 on the 7230. The reason it isn't listed is it is fairly old.

Cingular has v4.0.2.93 available from their download website and that appears to be the latest I can find. No 4.1 available for that model (memory constrained).
