I might have missed a thread on this but, will the Roxio media manager edit songs to use as ring tones on the 88 and 83?

I think that it depends what you mean by "edit". The "copy stuff to device" bit can do some limited conversions such as knocking the bitrate down, and it's got a tag editor and sound recorder built in.

Compared to something like Audacity it's a bit pants, though.
