OK, I HATE UPGRADING
This one will get you going
1. New 7290 (4 months old)
2. Used 4.0 Bete just fine
3. Friday upgraded to Rogers 4.0.219
4. Worked fne fine for 24 hours then screen went all choppy
5. pulled the battery out
6. did the moon+cap+del reset
7. Reloaded OS
8. Fixed it for another 24 hours
9. repet steps 5-8
10. now nothing on the screen.

SOmetimes I can get the light to turn on and sometimes I wil see random colours on the screen

I also can dial calls and answer them.
PLEASE HELP, I need this bby more than I need my girlfriend...

run javaloader to wipe the handheld...once you get the 507 Error then run Apploder directly from the Desktop Manager (don't worry if desktop Manager doesn't detect your handheld at that time, its normal)

install the new handheld code using the App loader, everything should be fine, if not then RMA your unit, something is probably wrong with the hardware.

This is different than what you did, you upgraded, this is a clean install.
