Question Data logging on BES without MDS?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys, I was just wondering how data transmission OTA is logged on the server side. My corporate BES4.0 does not come with MDS, and since I use the BB as a cell phone & for personal BWC mails, I'm kinda concerned if the company server has the ability to log/see what I do with on the BB, in terms of web browsing, OTA downloads, personal emails on BWC, SMSes etc. Is it possible for the BES admin to track all this without MDS? The last time I checked with my service (mobile) provider, since if the BES does not come with MDS, all data transmissions are done via WAP, which implies the company is not privy to the traffic.

On the same note, what happens when you're overseas, and using the network of a roaming partner? Same case as above?

Thanks in advance mates! Last I checked, Blackberryforums.com is not on my company's "approved" list of websites!

Don't quote me on that, but I don't think your comany can track your wap traffic since wap service is provided by your carrier and doesn't go through the BES and the SRP.
