Help...I resently upgraded a 7750 to os4. According to verizon's instructions it was going to backup the handheld database then upgrade the os, then reinstall the database. everything went fine except it didnt get all of the emails that were in the inbox. And of course this is one of the senior partners bb's and he wants all of the email that is in his inbox on the handheld. So how do I force the emails in the inbox onto the handheld? it is getting new emails but not the old ones. btw i am running a bes server 3.6 as well. Any help is appreciated

Have you tried the following?:
- Run "Backup and Restore" from Desktop Manager
- Find the backup file that was created when you upgraded to 4.0
- Select "Advanced"
- Do a selective restore of "Messages".

Of course, I think that running the restore will wipe out the new messages since you backed up. (At least that's what the pop-up message seems to indicate).

Disclaimer: I've never done this myself, so try at your own risk. Good luck.

Do you happen to know what and where the backup file is named and located? or at least a file extention that i can search for?
