Handmark Pocket Express/Maps may be what you're looking for - onetime price - but there is no GPS.

actually that is the oposite of what im looking for...
i am not so much interested in maps and streets, as i am basic GPS..
for example... i go up north to the cottage and decide to take a strole through the woods... something basic that i could mark a waypoint of the house and find my way back. so soemthing that you could use on a boat out in a lake.. "i came from here, and i am here"....

i do appreciate the suggestion, i hope this is more clear... i figure this thing has GPS, i just want soemthing that will track where im am and have been...
my old nextel i710 had this in the basic TeleNav tools (the part that you didnt have to pay for) it would basically mark your start point end point and trace a line as you walk/drive around...

TIA
Rob

Yes, at the moment, TeleNav is the only option.

There may be others in the future, such as www.redskymobile.com
