Default 7290 Brightness - Always set to high?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello Folks,

I'm a new BB7290 owner (I'm loving it!) and trying to get initial settings as optimal as possible. I've done a search on this in the forums, but couldn't find this discussed.

I've upgraded the BB OS with the latest v4 version, everything works fine.
The manual says that under Screen/Keyboard I should be able to set the default brightness level. However, this is not something that appears as an option.

With BBlight, the backlight comes on when I want it to, but it's at the initial low brightness. Is there any way to set the default to high?
Thanks for any advice!

I wonder if that is a function that can be enabled in a new BBlight release?
