Default Where Can I Download BB OS 3.8?

Please Login to Remove!

It's not on the T-Mobile site, just 4.0 - It's a 7230.

Tx

What model BB?

There are many threads already open asking the same question - if you search on, say "7100t 3.8" you mind find a hit....

Why go for OS 3.8 when you can get 4.0?

Can't get the Blackberry to be a wireless modem for my laptop under 4.0. It reportedly worked under 3.8.

Where did you read that you can get a 7230 to act as a modem? I believe the FAQs speak about the 7100 and 7290. I do not believe they ever said a 7230 can work as a modem!

Read this very carefully - you are wasting your time...

Right- only references to 7100t acting as a modem, which I determined by searching BEFORE I posted the question. The laptop sees the 7230 as a "Standard Modem". When "Query Modem" is tried, DSR is low and CTS is low whle initializing modem are two suspicious error messages from the ModemLog. Figured it was worth a try.
