Default How verify MDS is enabled? - 08-15-2007, 11:47 AM

I have an odd question, but bear with me. I have inherited the BES admin hat for my organization and need to determine definitively whether or not MDS is enabled or disabled.

Where can I find this information? Is it in the registry? Is it in the BES management console? Is is both?

In case it helps, here are the specs on the situatipon:
Server OS: 2003/SP1
BlackBerry Handheld Software Version: 4.1.0.377
BlackBerry Platform Version: 2.0.0.152
BlackBerry Model: 8700
BlackBerry Carrier: Cingular

Any help would be greatly aprreciated!

Thanks,
SchemaAdmin

You can see it in the BES management console - under any user you should see "BlackBerry MDS Connection service and BlackBerry Collaboration Service Enabled" and then True or False
