Hi,
Recently Yahoo! sync support was added the Desktop Manager (Hooray!) and it works well. However, there's one annoying bug in the implementation: The "+" in front of international numbers gets lost in the sync process. I can see it's still there in the sync log, but when I open my BB 8800 they are gone from my contacts (yes, I know I can add it numerically as 011).
I was poking around on the RIM site, but could not find anywhere to resport bugs. I then e-mailed the help address and got a nice auto-reply telling me to contact my carrier. If I did that with this kind of thing I would spend hours explaining what a software bug is before I even got to the problem in question. And yeah, I'm sure the support rep at T-Mo would throw him/herself on the phone to RIM and make sure the bug was reported! T-Mo support is actually very good, but not THAT good
Does anyone here know how Rim deals with bug reporting in their software? When I was a Nokia phone user it was easy to report bugs in their software (the early days of Intellisync), but with RIM it seems a little trickier.
