Unhappy OS/app help? - 08-20-2007, 02:51 PM

Hi, I just recently switched from a sidekick 3 to a blackberry 8700g and I was upgrading it to the new OS but I was wondering if it's really necessary to install the DOD root certificates and MDS runtime? I want to have as much memory as possible so if I don't need it please let me know! I've searched but I'm getting mixed answers. Thanks in advance.

No, they are not required.
