Question 957 not receiving messages

Please Login to Remove!

I have a user that has a 957 that is not getting any messages in while wireless. He can, however, send messages and they are delivered. Are there any quick tricks I can have him try over the phone?

Are you Lotus Notes or Microsoft Exchange?

If you are Lotus Notes, ensure that the BES Server is given Manager Access on the User's Mail Database. Make sure it is listed in the ACL of the Mail Database, either by itself or as part of a servers group.

Unfortunatley, I don't have any thoughts or experience with Microsoft Exchange.

If their mailbox in outlook is at its size limit. This will happen. Create a Personal folder for them and then a sub folder for sent items and move all their sent items to it. Empty deleted items as well and consider moving old stuff and attachments from their inbox into the personal folder.

(In Outlook 95 through XP, personal folders have a size limit of just under 2gb before the PST file will start trashing data. Outlook 2003 does not have a limit provided the PST was created in Outlook 2003)
