I was wondering if I can prevent emails from showing up in both message icon/folders. I got the 8707 BB and it shows two different folders (one folder/icon says messages the other has my email address) but emails show up in both folders and sms show up in the messages folder only.

That's just how it works. There is no way to separate out the emails from the Messages folder.

At least with the SMS, the icon looks different within the inbox.
