Does anyone else miss OS 4.1?

I thought it was a great OS on my 8700c then, when I put 4.2 on my 8700 I noticed it ran MUCH slower but, there were a few new features I took a liking to...

Now I have an 8300 through AT&T and 4.2 is still slow, get the "hourglass" a lot more than I ever did on my 8700... and this is my second 8300...

discuss...

I did enjoy the fast response time in the menus and other things with v4.1, but I much rather have the new features of the 4.2 OS.

yeah, I liked the features also... I really only had the phone for about a week after I upgraded to 4.2 on the 8700... I sold mine for $50 to a friend when I got my Curve...

I may never get rid of the 8700g...until it dies I guess. I like it a lot. It is rock solid. I am thinking about picking up a 7290 for a backup. I just like the "old-school" 'Berries for some reason.
