Just read on the front page of the WSJ that NTP, actually the lawyer that is one holder of the patent on email, is being sued by the family of the deceased owner of Telefind who originally developed the technology for wireless email. Seems the lawyer received $177 mil from the suit, the other owners widow $153 mil and the family of the original developer received nada.
The lawyer, Mr. Stout, looks shady to me as he worked for 3 companies that were of conflicting interest. Good read if you have access to the WSJ!
