i see post here saying rimm is being downgraded and is overvalued and stuff. every since the 3-1 split in late aug. the stock has jump some more...wtf is going on? should i get in or what? what is the target price for this year?

WTF. Nice.

Bear Stearns downgraded it on the 4th, and it went down.

Today (that would be the 14th) some institution named BMO Capital Markets initiated coverage with an "Outperform" rating.

Targets are somewhere in the $110-$120 range.

I am not a broker, and am not recommending this stock.

...should have gotten in just prior to the split, at the latest. it won't disappoint you, but i don't think you can expect a massive amount of return (then again, i say that every year and i could be retired by now from the gains).

I bought 60 shares yesterday for 85.5 and sold it today for 90.06. I love fed rate cuts. The price target is set at 110. Def a good stock to own. Esp now that they are allowed to sell BB's in China.

Nice! Bought 50 shares @ 81.25...would be nice if it gets to $110 i would have to sell then...lol

That is great. I own a couple of shares that i bought at 78.22 (well actually paid 232 but after the split). It would be really sweet if it got to $110. 4th quarter is almost always great for tech companies.

i use scottrade and they have an insiders tab in the detailed view of a stock. i know yahoo finance has a similar thing but idk if its upto date or not. its on the left nav panel.

Well today is the day...saw rimm cracked $98 at one point today.....not sure what time the earnings call is. Not sure if anyone watches Fast Money on cnbc but they stated RIMM was upgraded to a new target price of $180 up from $120.

At this pace Rimm will have have to split again next year. I heard there could be a 15% swing in either direction today after the earnings report. Hope it up!

Yeah lets hope for 15% upwards....i think the report comes out at 4pm and the call is at 5pm. Should be interesting.....

Well really didnt do anyhting after the report, but it is sure putting on a show today. Up 11.76% as I am typing this.

113.37 was the last trade. Rediculous returns in just the last month, and even more rediculous in 52 weeks.
