wasnt it suppose to be out some time ago...I think I saw something as well, but that is kinda of it..."I saw something" nothing concrete, like there is a problem with the release of it. If I recall, it was suppose to be released this Past Nov...but that is basically all I have heard, not much talk otherwise

Telefonica customers in Spain were able to download a copy of this software shortly after it was announced, though it was a limited copy

Looking at the specs, it seems you need OS 4.3. Perhaps when then release 4.5 it will be available ...

Apparently it was a partnership with TeleFonica in Spain only, no others carriers worldwide. And as for OS 4.3, it is out no the 8110, 8120, and 8130 devices

Does anyone know if you can use this for PIM sync on more than 5 BlackBerry's? We don't use one of the support email platforms for BES PIM sync would be incredibly helpful as we turn over a lot of devices.

I was kind of hoping that this would address this.

Unite supports a Max of 5 berrys. you could, in theory, run multiple copies of Unite on multiple machines. that is the setup i would guess if you do not have your own email server for BPS or BES

What happened to Unite!? Good question. I have been wondering the same thing.

On the snippets we have had, though, I'm not sure how useful it would be to me personally. What I had hoped it would do is allow wireless calendar syncing to my Outlook calendar on the desktop. However, from what I can piece together it looks like it does give wireless calendar sync, but only to the calendar within the Unite! package (which may be web based, I don't know). Anyone have any more info?

Thats the thing...they announce this thing and make it sound pretty interesting...then they like delay it with all the other os upgrades that they are suppose to have out the door. I am not sure what the deal is. there is this thing called time to market...the more you drag your feet, the more slack your competitors pick up. That is how it was when I worked for seagate as an engineer, we had a window to get the product out the door to maximize profit and to appease our customers.
