Gaaaahhh!!!

The 'integration' between Nextel and Sprint has been painful enough.

Force migrate all customers off CDMA/iDEN...sell off redundant spectrum then build out UMTS...or skip nationwide 3g rollout and build out an LTE network.

It could turn out to be a good thing like 2 years down the road. Sprint has a lot of spectrum (and unfortunately a lot of debt)

7280 > 7290 > 8700c > 8100 > 8800 > iPhone (??) > 8320.....and i'll just keep going.

If anything, they should dump TMO's GSM network. Sprint has already built out a 3G network with EVDO Rev A, while TMO is just starting and it will be quite some time before they have 3G throughout the country.
That being said, I doubt TMO would even consider Sprint and does anyone really want another carrier to be swallowed up? Less choice equals higher prices. Just look at Canada.

This one has been floating around for a while now. Personally, I hope it doesn't happen. Seems to me like a lot of refit for marginal gain.

No sir, I don't like it. Anything that could disrupt my TMO service frightens and confuses me! Nay I say.

Change is good Im for it, Imagine a super Hybrid International Blackberry phone able to run on all the networks X-D, scary but cool. Might as well start working on a Bold 2 lol.
