APPROXIMATE RELEASE DATES - you certainly are very excitable about the Bold and the "Thunder" aren't you. More rumors.

Let's tone it down a bit, please.

Man am I pissed.....Why do I always have to wait for Tmo to come out with the new BB after at&t. Now I have to look at all the at&t users carrying the bold while I'm going nuts waiting for tmo as ussual...

This would be nice if they actually stuck to these schedules but I can't see Verizon coming out with this phone this fast. I hope I am wrong. I will be lined up to get mine.

I highly doubt three carriers will be releasing the same device in the same month. They got this article from infosync and that page doesn't really establish any sort of release date. I could put together a page with four photos of the same phone with the exact same specs (T-Mobile's version WILL have 3G and they're frequency is 1700/2100 MHz not 1800/1900 MHz like this chart states) and then plug in any date I wanted, it doesn't make it true. Also, T-Mobile will have UMA capability. This is a generic chart with no credible information besides the hard specs of the phone which we all know.

What? A rumor site has no credible information?
Stunning...

In fact, moving this to Rumor Mill.

I don't buy it for an instant. You're telling me that between the Curve, Bold, and Thunder, Verizon is going to release three new BB's within one year?

I'll believe it when I see it.

Thanks for the sarcasm and moving it to the Rumor Mill.. Even though it's a really bad one!

Not sure.. The 9000 forum has been pretty crazy since the press release for the Bold. Speculation galore!

As much as I would love to see Verizon Wireless with the 9000 in September, I can't really see it as appropriate, they just released the Curve 2 weeks ago?

I will remain hopeful, .... that's it.

And I almost bought the Curve lol

For the first time I feel the future might hold some different for me. It's possible I'm fooling myself but I'm willing to take the risk.

I think you VZW folks need to come to the same realization this VZW folk came to: if you want the latest and greatest devices, there really is no solution other than switching to AT&T. If their coverage sucks where you are, then just go grab a Curve and be happy about it. I'm really lucky in that I switched with barely any difference in coverage or service, and now I look forward to new releases when they're new.

Engadget just updated that infosync world article:

Quote:
Update: We got in touch with InfoSync World, where these numbers were published, and they told us that they were making estimates based on pre-release info. So nope, these aren't close to official -- but it's always fun to dream, right?
I'm shocked.

I was actually hoping they were wrong because I'm rooting for a June release of the Bold.

I would sooner use a land line than go with AT & T!

To each his own. I get great coverage with AT&T, no dropped calls, and every experience I've had with their customer service over the past year has been excellent. I loved VZW, but the transition was easy. What I don't miss are the year old phone models.

Remember Rim is still working on OS 4.5 for the Curve. I'd say any "approximate date" is several months behind anyway

Good call cmguerra ... it would be insanity for 4.6 loaded devices to be out before 4.5 was available.
