I dont remember reading that at BG but thats what they are saying here:

The rev C part is the only part i question. I do not think that VZW is ready on that regards. The device might support it, but my guess is that they will market it as a "software upgrade"

My wireless card for my laptop is EVDO Rev A, and I just got it as an upgrade a few weeks ago. I can't imagine how the Rev C network would be available to devices in the next few months. Like Sith, my guess is that it will be "Rev C ready" but Rev Cs availability will not be til 2009 sometime.

I heard a rumor that it wouldn't even have Rev. A. I found this odd because of all the Euro GSM and HSDPA chips added. If this is Rev. A, I would be psyched enough.
