Has anyone heard if a new Nextel Berry is going to come out soon?

Yes, actually word is that the curve will be released for Nextel sometime late this year or early next year. Jibi wrote an article on BlackBerryNews.com a while back. You might search back through the blog there.

I spoke to my sales rep from Nextel and he says it is coming out in the 4th quarter this year.

Awesome! If my whole family wasn't using Nextel I'd switch but with the possibility of Sprint selling Nextel I hate to do that. My 7100i is getting old.

Now I just hope it has GPS...if not I'll just spring for a GPS that stays in the car so I can't wait. I'll have to wait just a little longer.

If you google it you'll see some pics without an antenna. I don't think they are showing us real pictures yet! I do hope it is made without the antenna!

I love that it will have wi-fi! I have seriously considered switching carriers because he 7100i is so limited but then it would cost me to talk to my whole family because there is no way I am getting them all to switch. I think my family would all have heart attacks if they actually had to call instead of 2-way! Sometimes I hate the direct connect but what can you do?

I have been repeatedly told by my government rep - no antenna.

The Blackberry 8350 will be black, come in 2 styles (with or without camera) and will not have an external antenna. Wifi is an automatic. The side button that is currently the web button on the 8320 is the PTT button.
Beta testing just began and they are hoping to roll-out by the end of October

We are still using 7520's! Everyone seems to stay away from the 7100's. This would be a breath of fresh air Sprint/Nextel needs...

I am with Verizon now and use the PocketPC with WM6. I might swtich Sprint-Nextel with the new BlackBerry if the offer a decent pricing plan. The problem is so many people in Massachusetts have Verizon that they "IN Calling" makes it so inexpensive. That could be a deal breaker.
