Scooby, the 7105t is coming out within the next month. The Electron is supposedly due out on Cingular by the end of Q3. The 7100 series iDEN device information is included with the latest 7100 series installations. I'd say thats a bit on the near-term front for RIM...

I'm just a tad bored of my 7290 and want something new. A slightly improved 7100 doesn't impress me much. I don't do Nextel (don't own a pickup truck and I am not a construction worker

Scooby thats a rather narrow mind you have there isnt it. My wife isnt in construction and she doesnt own a pick up truck either but she has a nextel so does my mother and my father. Three of my friends are large business owners who arent in construction have them. My Brother isnt a construction worker he is an inspector for the District attorneys office.

Hey - any news on the electron front? Seems really strange that Motorola has publicly announced the Moto Q and RIM does not say anything on the electron.

RIM generally doesn't make public announcements until something is very close to being actually available.
