Post AT&T to offer TV Service (CV) ...

Please Login to Remove!

Just to clarify for those of us who have a Bold on at&t at the moment. This service is not currently available as part of a BlackBerry data plan. I have attempted to have this service enabled on my phone, spoke to 3 CS reps, and one Tech Rep, all with the same response... "You will need to add a MEdia Net bundle to your account." This is the same message received when trying to access content on the phone.

I hope this saves some time for those who read the News article and are thinking of calling in, or attempting to access the CV content from their phone.

Knowing that speaking to 3 CS Reps and one Tech rep gives me about a 10% chance of receiving accurate information, so if there is anyone on at&t, with a Bold, and is able to view CV content, without a MEdia bundle on their account, please post how you did it. I would love to know.

NOTE: If you are brave enough to call in, be prepared for the barrage of "We cannot guarantee the data service will function properly when placing an unlocked device on our network." disclaimers you receive at every turn or transfer.

Wirelessly posted (off to see the wizard)

Also folks keep in mind CV allows you to view clips of shows in approx 3 minute segments it is not streaming like the new TV service ATT has now
