There is no true SKYPE client for the BB. Plus if you are on EDGE, you won't have the bandwidth to support good quality voice even if there was a client.

I use iskoot to call my folks in the Virgin Islands. It works without a hitch and it uses my skypeout account. Very useful.

It's probably easier to just create a Skypeout account and add the free Skype-to-go option then use that to make international calls. Hey, if you are on Tmob you can set the Skype-to-go number as one of your 5 favs and make unlimited calls using Skype. I've been doing it for months until I got the unlimited plan with Tmob, now I just use the Skype-to-go for international. I call Israel for $0.02 a minute...can't beat that.
