Dawg? You mean we can place calls with flyers??? RATS!

I know there are some excited Sprint/Nextel folks over this phone being added, and I do hope it's a step in the right direction for Sprint (moving BB phones into retail). But seriously, wouldn't a 7250 be better? I love mine...

I'd be more optimistic the phone will be here faster than you think.

It is actually listed as "indefinite". It got pushed back 'cause of a DC issue. No date until RIM can fix and Sprint approve.

Caught a glimpse of this device kinda looks like the 7100 form factor with an antenna that reminded me of a treo, almost looks like a treo smartphone from a distance.

Just noticed Dr.Scribbles sig that would be it.

Looks like we will see it sooner or later. But, check out the link below:

http://blackberry.com/na/index.shtml

Information refers you back to Nextel which still only shows the 7520. AND, according to the demo - DC is on the top again.

Well the phone has been produced since, some stores already have them. Of course ours does not, we never order anything cool, so that means I have to order one for myself... Thanks Work!!! Also a member of Hofo does have the device now, and he has posted pics of it. So it looks like Oct. 17th is the release date.

That is just an arrow drawn into the presenation...doesnt show any button actually being pressed. Someone on hofo had the phone in hand....confirmed the button is on the side.

I just went by the Sprint/Nextel store and I had one in hand for a few minutes (the valet guy was clocking me since I just pulled up and ran into the store) and the PTT button is on the side of the unit. I will have one of these at 10 am in use tomorrow!
