I just went there and was able to see the FAU @ CMU football score...so it looks like it works.

hehehe...my first time to visit the site and already I'm not impressed...they have the wrong final for the Mizzou/Northwestern game, in fact, they have NW as the winner...think I will stick with espn.

Definitely hockey news (thn.mobi) is the best 3rd party app for real time hockey scores. When I tried Viigo, not only was it very significantly delayed, but it also had many errors in hockey scores, so if you use Viigo for hockey scores, you're getting anything but "real time".

Definitely agree... Just bookmark a link to ESPN mobile page for NHL scores. No application whatsoever and terrific mobile page which offers 15 & 30 second autorefresh.

But for an apln, ESPN's just a bookmark so useless and not directly to the NHL page.

I think ESPN (came in my BB browser bookmarks already) is as good as anything that I've tried. CBS mobile is what I use for my fantasy football league, but ESPN for other games and it auto updates nicely so I can follow a game.

just downloaded thn mobi and was dismayed to see they're showing the wrong numbers for the playoffs. they've got WAS leading the series against PIT 2-1, but PIT tied the series last night. looks like it's back to ESPN for reliable information.

Hey There,

Noticed your question.

Yes, there is. Check out ScoreMobile -- full disclosure, I work for them -- it has scores, news, and live, up to the minute in-game coverage for many leagues, including the NHL.

I will have to see how well Score Mobile tracks scores. I wish it had a function where we could send scores. Email or copy and paste. I also have to see how well it reacts with my battery.

All of the app`s might be of great use for US Sport`s followers. But for us Europeans, it's frustrating.
Until now I haven't found any app.

ESPN seems to be nicer on battery. Scoremobile would be great if we could e-mail scores or at least cut and paste

The new navigation on the update 9/16 for Scoremobile is nice improvement and is my opinion is better than ESPN.

I used ESPN for years before ScoreMobile, which is way better imo. Way faster for one thing, all of the the MLB scores show up in a couple seconds and you go pitch by pitch, box, scoring plays, really fast. Football too, and golf, NCAA. I love it, it's the only one I use besides CBS for my fantasy league. I'd pay for it but it's free, and there was an update recently (dunno what it does).

ESPN needs to make a mobile fantasy app. Basketball starting next month.

Both ESPN and FoxSports update quickly. I recall Pocket Day having a sports plugin, but it was on an annual subscription (I HATE that!) so when my free trial ran out I dropped it. But the baseball scores updated in very nearly real time. That was sweet. I'd pay a one-time fee of $40 or $50 for it, but that annual deal just rubs me the wrong way. Plus Pocket Day was interfering with some other apps I was using. Never got around to re-trying it. I liked the Today Screen look, but the font was too small and increasing the fond wreaked havoc on the formatting. When Today+ themes came out I had what I needed on my home screen anyway.

My fantasy league uses CBS. I use the mobile version of their sports site to check out my league/scores. Yesterday I noticed an ad for their Blackberry NFL app in the banner at the top of the page so I downloaded it (choose either Storm, Bold, or Javelin it says). Pretty cool, you can check out recaps of NFL games or go to the fantasy site and it's easier to navigate your league's games for today.
