| Reason I envy other carriers.. Please Login to Remove! I wait tables down at the Oceanfront where I stay.. For some reason EVERYONE seems to have the new Curve offered by T-Mobile, I believe the "Javelin" as labeled on here? Anyway, I'm sitting looking at my 8330 with dust stuck under the screen and I'm thinking," Man, I'm tryin' get a new Blackberry for Alltel with the new interface and all that good stuff."
So basically, I can't get to the bottom of this researching of new BB's coming to Alltel, so... If anyone has any information to share on new upcoming or rumored Blackberry's I would much appreciate it.
Thanks a lot, and thanks for having me on the forums! | | Offline

| It is a curse that plagues all us CDMA users.. It is the price we pay for a faster network!

| <Grins>. Grass is always greener on the other side...
I'm on T-Mobile , waiting for a little Bold or Storm love, with no signs of that happening anytime soon.
Tempted to live on the bleeding edge and shop e-bay...

| good question. CDMA users do get devices later. but on the benefit, all the bugs are usually worked out and their networks TEND to be a bit faster | | Offline

| Nope. Your phone is associated with your mobile number on your account with your carrier if you are on CDMA. The phone's inherent ESN number is paired with your mobile number.

| alltel will officially come under the verzion name this year. All Alltel users will have to resign as a verizon customer and many will have to change their phones. If you are looking for a new BB then look at the verizon line. | | Offline

| Within North America, you can use the Storm and the upcoming Tour on GSM carriers. Outside of North America, you can use those as well as the 8830.
