I'm reading and hearing Att is not releasing a 3G version of the Javalin or Curve is this true?

I was really hoping they would release a 3G version this is disappointing if its true.

well i hope what i have heard and read are rumors. When is the 3G version supposed to come out for Att?

There hasn't been any confirmation of such a device even existing for any carrier, but when you consider the market it would be aimed at (javelin or Bold buyers) then the logical time for it to show up would be late 2009 so that carriers are able to sell it before the holidays.

Mind you, even though that is the likely timeframe for release, you can't actually be sure which carriers want to take which devices, so you could see something like Att launching a new bold and t-mo coming out with a 3g curve.

I want Sprint to release a hot new BB phone, but they are pushing the Palm Pre right now hardcore.
