have you been looking through the Beta You Than Me forum? a lot of people have been posting about OS 5.0.

Regardless of its release, you may not be able to install 5.0 on the 8300 series. There was some rumor that it may not be.

It has been leaked for the 8310, but from what I've heard, it's nowhere near as ready for the 83xx series as it is for the newer devices.
