Wirelessly posted (MY 8900) Welcome back. Where did u go out of curiosity? I thought storm2 at first, but I saw the optical trackpad. Hope this will come to tmo. =) |
Cool, that is a small touch screen though... With an optical trackball, RIM sure did put alot of technology in that one... I'm sure it will be expensive lol. But why have a touchscreen with a trackball?? Welcome back!! |
I was around floating and reading ...but not posting I can't live on these forums I'm a 20 year old that has a real life like school, friends, partying, doing what every other university kid should be doing haha so I just didn't post anything for awhile... I'm looking around waterloo and don't see any RIM people with any new devices... also quite hard to tell since they all look the same when i spot something in the wild i'll try my best to get a photo lol... and thanks for the WB's |
Looks cool but too bad its photoshopped....heres what the original pic looked like before the fabrication. ![]() |

Mods, please close this thread. |
Personally, I would like a trackball/pad even on touchscreen devices, there's plenty of times when you could use your device quicker than with the touchscreen e.g. reading a bunch of emails you wouldn't need to get in the way of your reading just to get the next email you wanted to read and when there's times when it wouldn't be better to use it you wouldn't have to, so where's the loss in having one other than losing a little bit of space from some buttons that are large enough anyway. |
Yeah it wouldn't hurt to have a little trackpad, the g1 has the roller ball style in addition to the touch screen. |
