I've had a quick look through the topics in this section, but I can't find any firm details of release dates in UK for the next Blackberry.

Have RIM confirmed what the next model will be? And when it will be out? WIth Apple releasing the new iphone 3G S, I am very tempted by it, but if RIM were to announce that a Storm 2 model for example will be out soon, then I would stick with my Blackberry.

I don't want to swap, as myself and friends have banter every day about Blackberry/iphone, and I always fight Blackberry's corner! But Apple have really raised the bar with the 3G S model, so RIM need to get a piece of the action ASAP!

AS most of the rumoured/confirmed models are for the US/canada don't expect a new BB for the UK for another 6 months. or more.

A RIM official confirmed about a month there would be a GSM version of the Storm2, likely on Vodafone, as well as Verizon, just like the original release.
