Default 9800 for VZW? - 07-28-2009, 06:23 PM

I just spoke to a Verizon Wireless Rep and was ordering the 9630. She wasn't sure which model I said and apparently her system let her select a 9800? Has anyone heard of such a device? It wouldn't let her order it (damn), but it was in her catalog.

cant find anything on google but mis-typed 8900 as 9800.
perhaps it was mis-typed in the system?

Except Verizon doesn't carry the 8900. So it is all speculation as to what was said and done.

Agreed, the 8900 wouldn't be in the VZW system, at least not on the systems I have seen.

And VZW reps aren't the sharpest "tools" in the shed.

Thanks - makes sense, she had all of the phones to choose from. My mind just lit up when she said 9800.
