Question Request for new feature - 08-09-2009, 09:57 AM

On my Treo I could add the local area code and when dialing a local number I only had to dial 7 numbers instead of 10. I have not found this feature on my new Tour. If it exists please advise. If not I think that it would be a good addition.

Thanks to all. I had tried that set my phone that way.It seems to work on some numbers but not others. I'll see if there is a difference between local numbers and local cell numbers and advise.

It will only work for local landline type numbers, it wont work for cell phone numbers.
