just buy a Storm 2 on eBay or Kijiji or Craigs and get it unlocked. I did and it works great on my Rogers account

Except your call display probably doesn't work, right? Also the other drawback is the fact that it will only get EDGE and not 3G.

Yes it will work just unlock it and pop in your sim card.

Tell me more about what you did not like please.
Dan the big thing with the Storm2 is that it has an accelerometer in it so that you can use appls like Dynolicious (Dynolicious : Automotive Data Logging Tools for Mobile Devices). My friend has the app for the iPhone and it is awesome.

At one point all the rumors were that Rogers was going to get this first. I would like to give this phone a try. But I dont really want to switch to Telus. My pearl is dieing and am running out of patience. If no word on this by Dec, I'm getting the Bold2.
I ordered a 9550 last week from Telus and should be here by this Friday. Then I am going call Horizon Wireless (HorizonWirelessOnline.com - Horizon Wireless, The World’s Cellular Repair Center ) to unlock it and put on Rogers.
